Welcome Back!

Welcome back to a brand new school year! I look forward to working with you on our fascinating journey through history (really, there is no sarcasm there!). Welcome to my "Historylovesyou Webpage", which utilizes movie clips, articles, and other links to websites. This webpage has a few purposes which we will discuss in class, but in short they are: (1) to reinforce learning and understanding of class content, (2) to provide an opportunity for (interactive) extra credit related to class content [extra credit opportunities will be posted throughout the year unit by unit].(3) to review content before a test, and (4) to have a learning stretch because it is cool to learn things just for the sake of learning them!

Why Study History?
It impacts our perspective and the way we see the world around us

 It is interesting...

it is full of exciting stories...

there is a "common knowledge" that everyone should be familiar with...

and ESPECIALLY because it is important! When you don't  know or understand history you demonstrate a lack of knowledge to others.
